![]() Now I listen to my inner voice and my body and know it to be right. At least in my case consuming value food in the morning starts my day off well and makes a huge difference. I have come to believe that while our dietary needs might be similar, we could react a lot stronger to the differences between what is good for us and what is not good for us. There is no doubt that information is missing as “rh factor is not that important” is not something that rings right with me. I am assuming the vast majority being women being that rh negative females are more likely to know their blood types than the rest of the population. Interesting that you mention such a high percentage of rh negatives being in the blood type diet group. Avoiding chemicals, including modern medicines is also imperative for us all as these seem to impact on us in many negative ways, including the proper assimilation of even the best quality foods. Having reached this point I know my body pretty well now and will perhaps make minor adjustments as I get older. I know the basic BTD was designed with Rh+ and Secretors in mind so have had to navigate my own way through the rest of it. I’ve always felt there’s still a gap in the diet which should be filled with information for Rh-‘s, but who is going to bother with the stringent testing for a minority like us. The only dietary consideration for Rh-‘s is in portion sizes on the foods lists. We also have a much larger than average number of Non-secretors in our group as well, despite their being only 20% of people on the planet (unusual fact no. Unusual fact no.3 is that, despite the fact that Rh-‘s are a minority group, we have 45 out of 105 members in the Explorer group who are Rh. 1), so having much more than their fair share of blood type A (55 out of 105 of our Explorer group members) would have to be unusual fact no. Explorer genotype is the only one which can be any blood type at all (unusual fact no. Almost all vegetables and many fruits (including tropical) are good for me. Nightshades are out (usually the mainstay of the vego diet) and there’s a leaning towards Indian food, rather than the Western European foods I was brought up on. I do better gluten-free with less of all other kinds of grains. ![]() Soy was removed from my diet and some red meat was put back in. Gradually gaining more information along the way and determining that I was Explorer Genotype and also Non-secretor changed much for me. I read the BTD books many years ago and they made perfect sense to me, so I couldn’t understand for a long time why I didn’t do as well as expected. The Blood Type Diet was not quite right for me, but despite this I persevered with the A-type vegetarian diet for quite a while. (Not shown.) For more on this type, see the Biotype Diets book. Blood type Rh-negative also displays delayed allergies, including: strong IgG allergens, and some T-cell allergens. IgE Scores of 500-750 are mild, 750-1000 are moderate, and 1000-1250 denote strong allergies. Their worst allergen is peanuts, a native American food. This biotype especially reacts to nuts and beans, but also to eggs, some meats, gluten grains and nightshades, as shown below. In fact, Rh-neg has the highest rate of immediate allergies of all blood types. The Biotype Research shows that blood type Rh-negative has more IgE allergies than Rh-positive. So is it a surprise that rh negative people react the worst to peanuts? It also appears that natives of the Americas are likely 100 percent rh positive. Peanuts are from North America and have not been introduced to Europe before America was officially discovered. They fare best with a temperate hunter-gatherer diet of Western European foods, such as meats, poultry, seafood, roots, tubers, and European fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds. Their ancestors adapted to their specific ecosystem over long periods of time in isolation, and modern Rh-negatives have inherited those adaptations. This type has inherited a Basque gene for blood type Rh-negative from ancient ancestors in the Pyrenees Mountains of France and Spain. The only problem that I see is that we are not being presented with a lot of information regarding rh negative people and whether or not our common ancestry may cause us to be more sensitive for certain foods and crave others more.īiotype Rh-negative is a Basque biotype. The blood type diet has been in the news for years as many celebrities swear by it.ĭespite mixed reviews, most of the participants claim it works for them.
