At least in my case consuming value food in the morning starts my day off well and makes a huge difference. I have come to believe that while our dietary needs might be similar, we could react a lot stronger to the differences between what is good for us and what is not good for us. There is no doubt that information is missing as “rh factor is not that important” is not something that rings right with me. I am assuming the vast majority being women being that rh negative females are more likely to know their blood types than the rest of the population. Interesting that you mention such a high percentage of rh negatives being in the blood type diet group. Avoiding chemicals, including modern medicines is also imperative for us all as these seem to impact on us in many negative ways, including the proper assimilation of even the best quality foods. Having reached this point I know my body pretty well now and will perhaps make minor adjustments as I get older. I know the basic BTD was designed with Rh+ and Secretors in mind so have had to navigate my own way through the rest of it. I’ve always felt there’s still a gap in the diet which should be filled with information for Rh-‘s, but who is going to bother with the stringent testing for a minority like us. The only dietary consideration for Rh-‘s is in portion sizes on the foods lists. We also have a much larger than average number of Non-secretors in our group as well, despite their being only 20% of people on the planet (unusual fact no. Unusual fact no.3 is that, despite the fact that Rh-‘s are a minority group, we have 45 out of 105 members in the Explorer group who are Rh. 1), so having much more than their fair share of blood type A (55 out of 105 of our Explorer group members) would have to be unusual fact no. Explorer genotype is the only one which can be any blood type at all (unusual fact no. Almost all vegetables and many fruits (including tropical) are good for me. Nightshades are out (usually the mainstay of the vego diet) and there’s a leaning towards Indian food, rather than the Western European foods I was brought up on. I do better gluten-free with less of all other kinds of grains. ![]() Soy was removed from my diet and some red meat was put back in. Gradually gaining more information along the way and determining that I was Explorer Genotype and also Non-secretor changed much for me. I read the BTD books many years ago and they made perfect sense to me, so I couldn’t understand for a long time why I didn’t do as well as expected. The Blood Type Diet was not quite right for me, but despite this I persevered with the A-type vegetarian diet for quite a while. (Not shown.) For more on this type, see the Biotype Diets book. Blood type Rh-negative also displays delayed allergies, including: strong IgG allergens, and some T-cell allergens. IgE Scores of 500-750 are mild, 750-1000 are moderate, and 1000-1250 denote strong allergies. Their worst allergen is peanuts, a native American food. This biotype especially reacts to nuts and beans, but also to eggs, some meats, gluten grains and nightshades, as shown below. In fact, Rh-neg has the highest rate of immediate allergies of all blood types. The Biotype Research shows that blood type Rh-negative has more IgE allergies than Rh-positive. So is it a surprise that rh negative people react the worst to peanuts? It also appears that natives of the Americas are likely 100 percent rh positive. Peanuts are from North America and have not been introduced to Europe before America was officially discovered. They fare best with a temperate hunter-gatherer diet of Western European foods, such as meats, poultry, seafood, roots, tubers, and European fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds. Their ancestors adapted to their specific ecosystem over long periods of time in isolation, and modern Rh-negatives have inherited those adaptations. This type has inherited a Basque gene for blood type Rh-negative from ancient ancestors in the Pyrenees Mountains of France and Spain. The only problem that I see is that we are not being presented with a lot of information regarding rh negative people and whether or not our common ancestry may cause us to be more sensitive for certain foods and crave others more.īiotype Rh-negative is a Basque biotype. It is the sequel to The Strangers (2008) and the second installment of The Strangers film series. ![]() It's all just crushingly dull. The Strangers: Prey at Night is a 2018 slasher film directed by Johannes Roberts and written by Bryan Bertino and Ben Ketai. They're also able, supernaturally, to be anywhere, at any time, and to know where their victims are at all times. The killers, on the other hand, are inhumanly imperturbable, with nary a drop of adrenaline affecting their actions. And they're always poking around where they shouldn't be, facing the wrong direction, or running from danger in plain sight. Unbelievably, all four of them leave their trailer without taking their phones. The characters aren't very smart, and their dialogue never really rings true. It has predictable jump scares and clichés like the lone, creaking swing on the swing set. He even includes a De Palma-like split-screen shot.īut the movie disintegrates quickly from there. Director Johannes Roberts ( The Other Side of the Door, 47 Meters Down), starts things off promisingly, with a 1980s-style title card and a creepy, 1980s-style synthesizer score, as well as some ironically chosen '80s pop songs. Thus, the sequel, The Strangers: Prey at Night, which is completely unnecessary other than as an investment. The original The Strangers (2008) wasn't good (or well-received by either critics or viewers), but it still made lots of money. This 10-years-later sequel to one of the staples of the home-invasion horror subgenre is aggravatingly typical, with baffling lapses in logic, dumb characters, and annoying, all-powerful killers. So overall I enjoyed the movie, and one I would recommend to slasher lovers. And the killers being somewhat invulnerable add to that feature of the slasher flicks as well. I also liked their take on sticking to the cliche slasher horroe genre by having characters that follow where the noise is coming from, or doing stupid things. I felt this movie was enjoyable and ironically intense when you hear songs like, “total eclipse of the heart” playing in the background as the killers are about to make their move. Slasher flicks were a big thing in the 80s and I felt with the addition of 80s music to the movie, prey at night was trying to pay homage to the 80s horror genre. I don’t know why common sense is hating on the movie for being an aggravating movie.sure the characters aren’t the brightest, and sure the killers come out of nowhere in multiple scenes, but isn’t that the typical slasher flicks for you? If you aren’t into the cliche that is slasher flicks, then yes you may hate this movie, but the first kind of horror movies I watched were slasher flicks slasher classics like Halloween, Friday the 13th, Child’s Play, And Nightmare on Elm Street. Performance at f/5.6 at all longer focal lengths tested was 1/10 stop or better. Exposure uniformity is quite good, particular for such a wide-angle lens, with a worst case vignetting of 1/2 stop at 12mm wide open, dropping to 1/4 stop at f/5.6. Its performance suffers somewhat at the 24mm "tele" end of its range, but stopping down to f/8 cleans up the problems there quite well.Ĭhromatic aberration is on the high side at maximum wide angle, decreasing steadly to moderate to low levels at 24mm.
